Rules
- Play in pairs: one guesser and one answerer (or the whole group answers).
- The guesser holds the phone or card against their forehead without looking at the word.
- The guesser asks yes-or-no questions; answerers may only reply "Oo" (yes), "Hindi" (no), or "Pwede" (maybe).
- Guess the word before the 2-minute timer runs out to score a point.
- Swap roles each round. Most correct guesses wins.
Set up before the first turn
Bring Phone or word cards, Timer. Gather 2-20 and place everything where all players can reach it before the first round.
Example first round
For a sample opening, the host reads the first instruction: “Play in pairs: one guesser and one answerer (or the whole group answers).” Once that is complete, continue with: “The guesser holds the phone or card against their forehead without looking at the word.” Treat this first pass as practice if anyone is unsure.
Host it well
- Use a practice turn for new players and rotate the starting player so the same person does not lead every round.
- Keep the explanation brief and start with a demonstration rather than repeating the written rules.
- Plan for about 15-45 min, but finish at the end of a good round if the group's attention starts to drop.
